Keeps pretty faithful to the original textures' feel, I think; just... half the resolution.
Variant differences:
Halfres: 8px mob textures
Halfres B: 4px mob textures
NOTE: To get water, lava, compass, and watch textures working, the texture pack must be installed with xau's HD Texture Fix.
